EurBee3, the Third European Conference of Apidology

EurBee3, the Third European Conference of Apidology, will take place at Queen's University Belfast, UK, from 8-11 September 2008 (registration on 7 September 2008). This biennial conference comprises plenary lectures and symposia (talks and posters) on diverse aspects of the biology of bees, honeybee management and honeybee products. Each morning and each afternoon will commence with a plenary lecture, followed by two parallel symposia.

Martin Giurfa (Tolouse, France) Behaviour
Steve Martin (Sheffield, UK) Bee diseases

Dave Goulson (Sterling, UK) Conservation

Local beekeepers are welcome to attend on Monday 8 Sept at the cost of GBP40, payable on the day. They will receive a book of abstracts, access to the day's lectures, morning and afternoon tea/coffee/biscuits and buffet lunch. There may be a pre-dinner reception included (this depends on funding that has been sought). Please see the website:
